  • Director of Engineering and Research at Smith & Nephew Advanced Surgical Devices
  • Works to advance the technology used in hysteroscopes – minimally invasive tubes with cameras used by surgeons
  • Developed a technology to reduce the surface warping of thin optic glass sheets that act as mirrors to reflect x-ray images taken from space-launched telescopes, a major contribution that enabled scientists at NASA to better capture x-rays from distant galaxies
  • Has always been fascinated by the laws that govern everything around us
